SEASON OF LOVE

December 25.2022. I made it. one of my favorite day of my life. I was so excited to celebrate Christmas, I was even stayed up late preparing our home and foods for Christmas eve. The time I waited came. and I was so happy watching my family smiling and chitchatting. Christmas is very special day for us, because we are able to eat together, talk and bond as we celebrate Christmas. .Christmas is one of the colorful days, as you can see people smiling and greeting everyone. 


2022 Christmas made me happy and one of the highlight of my 2022. I was so happy while celebrating it, I forgot all my problems and just enjoyed the night. I received gifts that are very meaningful to me, I received greetings that makes my heart melt. But the very best gift I ever receive was my family and friends, because they stayed with me. this year is the best Christmas that I will never forget.


I experienced a lot in this year, but Christmas day made me realize, that I should be grateful because I experience those, because it made me stronger.

  In my first day of school I was feel nervous and at the same time happy because finally after two years that we are in our house doing modules and household chores here we again slowly going back to the normal.  Ecstatic feeling when I entered again in a classroom, wearing complete uniforms, encounter new classmates and friends, we already meet our subject teachers and our adviser. We introduced ourselves before we start the class. I belong to the Special Science class and it is very challenging to me. So many tasks, non-stop quizzes, and a lot more. I know it's part of being a student. After the big  adjustment for me, finally  got myself into it. Most of my teachers are funny and understanding, they treat us like their own child and feels like home.  Over all my first quarter is both challenging and happy because in our first quarter I gathered more knowledge.

Kannawidan Festival of Ilocos Sur

In the Province of Ilocos Sur, the Kannawidan celebration commemorates the division of the two provinces in 1818. Ilocos Sur uses it as a means of showcasing its cultures, traditions, and religious practices. It is the Ilocanos method of giving thanks to God for all of his blessings as well as for the rich heritage of the region, which includes their strong familial bonds. This event will feature a variety of thrilling activities and performances. The celebration gives Ilocano kids more focus. Its because the provinces younger generations do not understand Ilocano culture. But current dances are covered more in depth. It is customary for a mass to be celebrated at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral during the festivals official opening. The patron saints of the 40 parishes and statues of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary are then carried in procession around Vigan City.   Semana Santa or Holy week is the yearly commemoration of Christ's Passion, an event referring to the week of Jesus' crucifixion (execution) and resurrection (rebirth) in the Bible. Palm Sunday heralds the start of Holy Week. Filipino families would typically attend church dressed in their Sunday finest and bearing palm leaves for blessing. Normally, palm leaves are offered outside the church; merchants will follow you down and sell you one before you enter the church. During the Holy Mass, they hoist their palaspas or palm fronds into the air with other churchgoers as the priest sprinkles them with holy water.   After the service, people take theirpalaspas home and pin or fasten them to their doors or windows, or they place them on the altar.Blessed palm leaves are supposed to eliminate negativity and bring good fortune into a home.
